Questions Print Shops Ask Before Restocking

Which DTF film should a print shop keep in stock?
Stock approved film grades and formats for your most frequent jobs. Match peel timing to your production routine, and keep decorative films for orders that need special finishes. Plan quantities around actual usage, available storage and confirmed replenishment lead times.
Choose the release timing that fits your production routine. HAIYI instant peel films allow immediate peeling after pressing, hot & cold peel films offer both timing options, and cold peel films require complete cooling. Compare suitable grades using your normal materials and equipment.
Use the format supported by your printer. Rolls suit continuous roll-fed production, while pre-cut sheets can suit samples and short runs on sheet-fed equipment. Order size alone does not determine whether a printer can use sheets or rolls.
One approved film may cover many routine jobs, but different fabrics, finishes and production requirements can call for another grade. Keep reference samples for your common garment types and evaluate material changes before using the same setup.
Run representative artwork using your normal printer, ink, powder, garment and heat press. Compare feeding, powder removal, peel timing, transfer appearance, adhesion and wash performance. Record the film model, batch details and approved settings for future orders.
